The SAMHSA drug test is also  known as a DOT drug test.  The drug test is a urine drug test that is composed of five drugs (drug groups) including Marijuana (THC), Cocaine (Benzoylecognine), Phencyclidine (PCP), Amphetamines (Amphetamine and Methamphetamine) and Opiates (Morphine and Codeine).  SAMHSA is an acronym for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.  SAMHSA is a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).  DOT is the U.S. Department of Transportation.
          
The federally mandated drug test can include analyses for 6-Acetly morphine if the urine is positive for morphine or codeine.  Also, if Methamphetamine is positive, a D,L isomer resolution can be requested by the Medical Review Officer
